KELLY McINTYRE (Janis Joplin) is a New York City based actress originally from Boston, MA. Her credits include National Tour: A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN (Janis Joplin Alternate), Regional: FOR TONIGHT (Goodspeed Opera House), as well as concert/readings at NYMF and NYTB in New York. Education: The Hartt School of Music, B.F.A. Musical Theatre. Kelly is also a composer for Musical Theatre and her compositions/concepts have been performed at venues including Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, NYMF, Musical Theatre Factory and NYTB. NIKITA R. JONES (Chantel, Bessie Smith, Odetta) is delighted to be performing in her first professional production as a Joplinaire. From Youngstown, Ohio, she earned her BFA in Theater from Youngstown State University where she appeared in numerous productions. Some of her most memorable roles include: Joanne (Rent), Sarah (Ragtime), TiMoune (Once on This Island), and Ronny (Hair). Nikita first appeared on stage at the age of six as a leaf, and her love for theatre blossomed from that point on. She dedicates her performances to her family and friends who have supported her endlessly.

As a writer and director, his most recent work is the 2014 Tony Award© nominated production of A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN at the Lyceum Theatre. His work has also been seen across the country and worldwide in such venues as The Savoy Theatre in London’s West End, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theatre, Wembley Arena, Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, Off Broadway, Regional Theatres across the United States and Canada, Las Vegas and Arena’s worldwide. As a published playwright and director, he has created theatrical musical portraits of such icons as Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley. Louis Prima and Keely Smith, and Conway Twitty. He directed and co-wrote Mike Tyson’s critically acclaimed UNDISPUTED TRUTH which opened in Las Vegas and went on to play Broadway and tour internationally. His production of ELVIS THE CONCERT premiered at Radio City Music Hall and for the next 15 years broke records at sports arenas worldwide and is seen annually on PBS.
