Meet the Cast of Man of La Mancha

KEVIN MCGUIRE* (DON QUIXOTE/CERVANTES)
Broadway, National, International Tours of Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Jane Eyre, The Secert Garden. Off Broadway: The New York Shakespeare Festival Public Theater (Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet) Big Maggie, Forbidden Broadway, Body Parts, Classic Stage Company (The Seagull) Gerald Gutierrez's Much Ado About Nothing, and Mark Lamos' The Gilded Age. Regional Credits included Hartford Stage Company, Arizona Theater Company, Theater Factory St Louis (Drama critics award George in Sunday in the Park with George), three summers at the Williamstown Theater Festival in over thirty productions, and on tour America for three seasons with John Houseman's The Acting Company. Kevin most recently appeared as Edna in Hairspray! Currently Kevin is playing Squire Trelawney in the Broadway Bound Treasure Island. As Artistic Director of the award winning Theater Company at Hubbard Hall Kevin directed 38 plays and 12 musicals among them, Saint Joan, The Cherry Orchard, As You Like It, The Heiress, Playboy of the Western World. As Artistic Director of the New Play New Works Festival Kevin directed the World Premiere of General Desdemona by Egan Reich. Kevin has played Uncle Vanya (Vanya) Pygmalion (Henry Higgins) Long Days Journey Into Night (Jamie Tyrone) On September 24th 2011 Mr McGuire was inducted into the Capital Region Entertainment Hall of Fame and is currently Artistic Director of Short North Stage in Columbus, Ohio. Training: St Mary's Academy (Hoosick Falls) The Hoosac School Circle in the Square Theater School and The Juilliard School.

BRENDAN BRIERLEY (MULETEER)
Brendan is an EMC actor from Greenwich, NY. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Brendan is thrilled to be making his Capital Rep debut. Recent credits include Roger (RENT), Link (Hairspray), and Paul (Kiss Me Kate). Many thanks to Maggie and everyone at Capital Rep!

A native New Yorker, Chris is thrilled and grateful to be here at Capital Rep! EMILY MIKESELL* (HOUSEKEEPER)
Emily returns to Cap Rep fresh from a season in Lake George playing Maureen Mulligan, the central character in Skin Deep. Audiences here may remember her from My Fair Lady, James Joyce's The Dead and Striking 12. Other credits include: Lone Star Love (Off-Broadway and Original Cast Recording), Radio Gals (Off-Broadway and Original Cast Recording), Swingtime Canteen (Off-Broadway), Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (Goodspeed Musicals), Pump Boys And Dinettes (Actors Theatre of Louisville) and multiple productions of Oil City Symphony and Smoke On The Mountain.

JOE PHILLIPS (BARBER)
Joe debuted at Cap Rep in King o' the Moon. He has performed professionally in regional theater and summer-stock, including Fiddler on the Roof, Last Of The Red Hot Lovers and numerous others; locally, Albany's Park Playhouse (most recently Annie Get Your Gun) and numerous roles at NYSTI, Cohoes Music Hall, The Egg and Proctors.

SHANNON RAFFERTY* (ANTONIA)
Shannon is thrilled to return to Cap Rep where she most recently appeared in The Marvelous Wonderettes. Other Cap Rep credits include The Crucible (Abigail), Our Town, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Grapes of Wrath, and the reading of Grandview (Faye), starring Brian Dennehy. Nat'l Tour of A Christmas Carol. Off B'way, A Tale of Cinderella and American Soup, and Unsung. Freddy was recently seen in the 1st National Tour of Grease and is excited to make his Capital Rep debut in Man of La Mancha. BREANNA STANGEL (BELLY DANCER)
Breanna has began belly dancing when she was 17. She studied American Tribal Style belly dance for two years under Bennington Beledi of Vermont. She then began an intense independent study of Tribal Fusion belly dance and created her own dance duo, Tempeststarii Tribal, with her dance partner and best friend. Their dance duo has performed in Renaissance Festivals, cafes, and other events throughout New York and Massachusetts. Tempeststarii recently was selected to open for re-renowned belly dance troupe, Bellyqueen's Journey Along the Silk Road, show in Boston Massachusetts. They also won best choreography and people's choice award for best troupe choreography in August in Boston's Viva La Diva bellydance competition. Breanna also began teaching tribal fusion bellydance at Keuka College, which she graduates with a bachelor's in Forensic Psychology, two years ago. Her class lives on today with one of her students now teaching at the college. Breanna has had the honor and fortune to take workshops with some of the most sought-after instructors including Sabrina Fox, Jill Parker, Kami Liddle, and drummer Issam Houshan. Today Breanna is adding Odissi, India's ancient temple dance, to her Tribal Fusion repertoire and practice.

DAVID ANDERSON SUTTON (PADRE)
David is joyful to return to Capital Rep: James Joyce's The Dead 2008 and My Fair Lady 2009 A dramatic tenor from Hoosick Falls. Has played Kaspar in Proctors Amahl and the Night Visitors, 2007; Lake George Opera's The Mikado, 2005; and several productions at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge. Thanks God for all of you who "fight for the right, even when your arms are too weary" For Dad and Mom, and loving wife Amy.

ANNE FRASER THOMAS (ALDONZA)
Anne is so excited to be making her Capital Rep debut in one of her favorite roles! Originally from Southern California, she received her theater degree from UC Irvine. She was recently seen as Gigi in Miss Saigon at Sacramento Music Circus. Other regional theater credits include, Mama Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe), Fantine in Les Miserables (Moonlight Amphitheatre), and Narrator in Joseph and the… (Welk Resort). She toured with VOX LUMIERE as the Evil Diva/Coloratura Soprano and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, sings with the gospel choir: Broadway Inspirational Voices, and performs weekly in DIVA at Industry Bar in NYC. SCOTT WAKEFIELD* (GOVERNOR/INNKEEPER)
Broadway: It Ain't Nothin But The Blues and Ring of Fire. Off-Broadway: The Joy Luck Club, The American Clock, Still Getting My Act Together. Regionally, Scott has performed with Seattle Repertory, Cincinnati Playhouse, Syracuse Stage, GeVa Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory, and Ford's Theatre, to name a few. Scott has won Best Actor awards for his portrayals of "Will Rogers," "Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd," and "Woody Guthrie". ERIN WATERHOUSE (INNKEEPER'S WIFE / MOORISH DANCER)
Erin is thrilled to make her Capital Repertory debut in Man of La Mancha. She has been performing lead roles in the Capital District area for the past several years, including Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Grace Farrell in Annie, and the second Mrs. DeWinter in Rebecca among others. Erin has been seen in numerous commercials and regional industrials. She sends love and thanks to her amazing husband Kevin. Run for it.
