Larry Daggett is playing George Bailey at Capital Repertory Theatre in the troupe's holiday production of "This Wonderful Life." It's not like that's any big leap. Plenty of actors have tackled the classic Jimmy Stewart film role and tried to translate it to the stage.

But Daggett is also playing George's wife, Mary, and working hard to make her sound like Donna Reed. And he's playing Mr. Potter, with an edge like Lionel Barrymore. In fact, Daggett is playing the entire town of Bedford Falls, as well as an angel named Clarence.

Whew!
