Big shows on tap in new year

If the first couple of months of 2013 are any indication, it might be a great year for entertainment.
Indeed, January is normally a slow month for concerts, yet we can already enjoy Little Featscheduled at the Egg on Friday. Later in the month, on Jan. 26, the Trey Anastasio Band offers a night of jamming music at the Palace Theatre in Albany. The same night, Manhattan Transfergives a totally different audience a night of mellow sounds at The Egg. A few days later, on Jan. 30,Heart is at Proctors for a night of nostalgia and great music. Not a bad January.
